Jason Fellner is the Managing Partner of Fellner Law Group, serving clients across California, Washington, and Hawaii. He leads the firm’s strategic direction and daily operations while maintaining an active litigation practice focused on complex civil matters, including legal malpractice, commercial disputes, employment law, and other high-stakes cases.
A top-rated trial attorney, Mr. Fellner is widely recognized for his expertise in complex civil litigation and his specialization in legal malpractice law. He represents both individuals and businesses, guiding them through every stage of dispute resolution—from pre-litigation counseling and mediation to arbitration and trial. He also acts as general counsel to law firms and corporate clients, providing practical legal and strategic advice.
Known for his collaborative approach, Mr. Fellner works closely with clients to address not only the legal and financial implications of their cases, but also the emotional complexities that often accompany litigation. He is certified by the State Bar of California as a Legal Malpractice Law Specialist and holds Board Certification as a Diplomate with the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. In addition to his legal practice, he frequently speaks to legal audiences on topics related to legal ethics and serves as an expert witness in legal malpractice and ethics matters. He is also a member of the Legal Malpractice Working Group under the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Fellner’s distinguished career includes co-founding Millstein Fellner, LLP, and previously serving as a partner at Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney, P.C. He began his legal journey as a legal research attorney to the Honorable Peter J. Busch in the Law & Motion Department of the San Francisco Superior Court. Since 2013, he has been honored annually as a Northern California Super Lawyer, and since 2017, he has served as guest faculty at Stanford Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop. He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates (A.B.O.T.A.) Trial College.
