Lindsay Hoopes serves as Of Counsel at the firm, bringing a diverse background in public prosecution, compliance, and regulatory law.

A San Francisco and Napa native, Lindsay began her legal career at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where she served nearly a decade under Vice President Kamala Harris and her successors. She also completed rotations with the California Attorney General’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, gaining extensive experience in high-profile prosecutions and government litigation.

Lindsay holds a J.D. from UC Law San Francisco, where she also served on the Editorial Board of the Hastings International & Comparative Law Review and competed on the Moot Court team. She earned a joint Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Securities and Banking Regulation from Trinity College Dublin. In addition to her legal practice, Lindsay is General Counsel of her family’s business, Hoopes Vineyard, where she oversees trademark, land use, compliance, and legislative matters. She also serves as an adjunct professor at UC Law San Francisco, teaching Legal Research and Writing.
